【摘要】:ThisisintendedtooutlineOx0026;Missuesthatrequirediscussionandmutualagreementbyboththeopticalfibercableownerandsewerpipelineoperator.Thepurposeisdevelopingsufficientwrittenproceduresandpracticestoallowopticalfibersystemstocoexistasasecondaryusewithinasewer.Totheextentthatsewersareprimarilyforconveyingflow,itistheresponsibilityoftheopticalfibercableownertoaccommodatesewerOx0026;MpracticesanddevelopopticalfibersystemOx0026;Mproceduresthatwillnotmaterialimpactthesewerx2019;sprimaryfunction.Sincethepracticeofintegratingsewersandopticalfibersystemsisanemergingactivity,thispracticewillhelpestablishguidelinesforitsrapidandsafedeployment,ensuringthattheinstalledfacilitiesareoperableasintendedonalong-termbasis.1.1ThispracticeappliestotheoperationandmaintenanceofsewerswithasubsequentinstallationofopticalfibercableperPracticeF2303.1.2Thispracticeappliestogravityflowstormsewers,sanitarysewers,andcombinedsewers.1.3Thispracticedoesnotapplytoforcemains,siphonsorotherpressurizedsewers.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
